The brief
A print and reprographics shop serving architecture and engineering students needed to look like the place that could handle a thesis deadline. Its customers walk past a row of near-identical shops, so the sign had to say both what it is and everything it does, without becoming a wall of text.
What we did
- 01Built a parametric wave mark that reads as architecture, for a shop whose customers are architecture students
- 02Drew a CMYK-derived palette from the trade itself — cyan, magenta, yellow, black
- 03Produced stacked and horizontal lockups so the mark survives both a shopfront and a narrow header
- 04Set the eight services in a paired grid, legible at walking pace
Specification
